£85.00

Date: Thursday 7th November

Time: 10am - 4pm

Tutor: Jeremy Speck

Experience: This workshop is suitable for those who have some experience of linocutting, and the emphasis of the day will be on experimentation and exploration!

Unlock the world of relief printing in an adventurous one-day workshop led by Jeremy Speck. This course is a creative exploration beyond traditional lino printing. Embrace the opportunity to delve into an array of materials, including wood, cork, and vinyl, to craft unique textures and effects in your printmaking.

So if you have a surface or a medium that looks like it will lend itself to relief printing bring it along!

What to Bring:

Bring along any surface or medium you believe holds promise for relief printing. Whether it's a unique piece of wood, a corkboard, or a sheet of vinyl, this workshop is an opportunity to breathe life into unconventional materials. Embrace the chance to experiment, guided by an experienced tutor and alongside fellow creatives.

Materials and Equipment:

General shared tools and equipment are provided on the course but there are charges for additional papers and inks.

On the day:

Tea and coffee will be available in the workshop. The Exeter Phoenix Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.

Please be aware, there is no parking at Exeter Phoenix, except for one parking space for disabled customers. We are a short walk from many long stay car parks https://exeter.gov.uk/car-parking/car-parks/find-a-car-park/. We are also a short walk from Central Station and the bus station. Alternatively, use the Park & Ride to bring you into the centre.
