Kitchen Litho Day Thursday 17th Oct

Experience: Beginners happy to experiment and experienced printmakers
Location: Print Workshop, Lower Ground Floor, Exeter Phoenix
What you’ll learn: An introduction to a simplified form of lithography using aluminium foil and fizzy cola. A simple yet surprisingly nuanced technique to directly reproduce drawings. Great for exploring a range of drawing styles in multiple copies. The course will also look at making a two or three colour lithograph.
Materials and Equipment: General shared tools and equipment are provided on the course but there are charges for additional papers and inks.
On the day:
Tea and coffee will be available in the workshop. The Exeter Phoenix Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.
Please be aware, there is no parking at Exeter Phoenix, except for one parking space for disabled customers. We are a short walk from many long stay car parks https://exeter.gov.uk/car-parking/car-parks/find-a-car-park/. We are also a short walk from Central Station and the bus station. Alternatively, use the Park & Ride to bring you into the centre.
