Fabric Screenprinting 5 Week Evening Class starts Thurs 26th September
Dates: Every Thursday Evening for five weeks, starting 26th September
Time: 6.30pm - 9pm

Experience: Beginners, screenprinters who want to try out fabric, or those seeking a fabric printing refresher.
Location: Screenprint Studio, First Floor, Exeter Phoenix
What you’ll learn: This beginners' course offers you a unique opportunity to explore the art of screen printing on fabric. The process is similar to printing on paper but utilizes different inks and screens. By using water-based inks on natural fabrics, you'll master the use of versatile paper stencils and hand-drawn photographic screens to create a stunning batch of fabric samples or even a length of fabric.
Learn the essentials of fabric screen printing, from materials and tools to the techniques specific to fabric printing.
This 5-week course provides a comprehensive understanding of fabric screen printing, equipping you with the skills to bring your textile creations to life.
Materials and Equipment:
General shared tools and equipment are provided on the course but there are charges for additional papers and inks.
On the day:
Tea and coffee will be available in the workshop. The Exeter Phoenix Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.
Please be aware, there is no parking at Exeter Phoenix, except for one parking space for disabled customers. We are a short walk from many long stay car parks https://exeter.gov.uk/car-parking/car-parks/find-a-car-park/. We are also a short walk from Central Station and the bus station. Alternatively, use the Park & Ride to bring you into the centre.
