What you’ll learn: Monoprinting is a beautiful process that produces one-off prints that are quick and easy to make, that will leave you with a collection of unique and stunning prints. It is one of the few print processes where only one image can be taken at a time. It’s versatile and there are many different ways to make a monoprint - why not join us to find out how!

During this session, you will learn various techniques and methods to create captivating monoprints.

Explore drawn and painterly techniques plus the use of textures and other materials in creating unique and expressive prints. A great way of evolving ideas.

You will be introduced to printing papers, printing inks and how to take your first prints from your plates.

Materials and Equipment: General shared tools and equipment are provided on the course but there are charges for additional papers and inks.

On the day:

Tea and coffee will be available in the workshop. The Exeter Phoenix Café is also open should you wish to purchase other refreshments during the workshop.
