About Sally

Sally's etched and drypoint prints are produced mainly using Perspex, the images are burnt, scratched or etched onto this. She uses unusual off cuts of perspex and this inspires her imagery. Different tools and etching mediums are used rather than specific printmaking implements.

Sally enjoys the immediacy and directness of this technique and it often dictates the inspirational style of the final print. Most of the images are inspired by the local landscapes and use of different perspectives.

Sally feels the strength of her work lies in developing my unique and innovative style and techniques in printmaking. Sally is a small independent printmaker striving to develop her innovative and distinctive method of printmaking.
